Power Foods to eat everyday


Okay maybe every day might not be possible, but include these power foods in your weekly diet to reap the benefits!

Fruit & Vegetables

  • Blueberries – 1/2 of a cup
  • Apple
  • Banana
  • Orange
  • tomato
  • Broccoli
  • Kale
  • Spinach
  • Carrots
  • Onion
  • Sweet potato
  • Edamame

Oats, Seeds, Nuts, Grains & Beans

  • Oats – porridge? oatmeal ? With a spoon of natural honey it’s not as bland as you might think!
  • Nuts – 1 handful
  • Beans – 3/4 of a cup, Kidney beans and Black beans are great!
  • Chia seeds – 1 tbsp
  • Flaxseeds – 1 tbsp
  • Quinoa
  • Lentils


  • One clove of garlic
  • Olive oil – 1 tbsp
  • Natural yoghurt
  • Green tea – 2-5 cups
  • Milk – 2-3 servings
  • Dark chocolate
  • Egg
  • Fish – salmon and tuna are full of great omega 3 fatty acids!

Making a smoothie or a juice every day is a great and delicious way to include seeds, fruit, vegetables, yoghurt! Especially if you’re not a fan of something listed above, you won’t even taste it!

Also, a trail mix of nuts and berries is a high fiber, filling snack to keep you going during the day.
