Okay maybe every day might not be possible, but include these power foods in your weekly diet to reap the benefits!
Fruit & Vegetables
- Blueberries – 1/2 of a cup
- Sweet potato
Oats, Seeds, Nuts, Grains & Beans
- Oats – porridge? oatmeal ? With a spoon of natural honey it’s not as bland as you might think!
- Nuts – 1 handful
- Beans – 3/4 of a cup, Kidney beans and Black beans are great!
- Chia seeds – 1 tbsp
- Flaxseeds – 1 tbsp
- One clove of garlic
- Olive oil – 1 tbsp
- Natural yoghurt
- Green tea – 2-5 cups
- Milk – 2-3 servings
- Dark chocolate
- Fish – salmon and tuna are full of great omega 3 fatty acids!
Making a smoothie or a juice every day is a great and delicious way to include seeds, fruit, vegetables, yoghurt! Especially if you’re not a fan of something listed above, you won’t even taste it!
Also, a trail mix of nuts and berries is a high fiber, filling snack to keep you going during the day.
